DPTG DMCC announces new CEO appointment

UAE – DPTG DMCC is pleased to announce that Edward Allington is to replace James Lear as DPTG’s Chief Executive Officer, taking over the role effective 17th July 2013.

Jamie is moving to a new position as a Director at the Dubai Mercantile Exchange.

Ed has been associated with DPTG since 2008.

Previously Managing Director at Mantis Capital DMCC, Ed, a Graduate of Edinburgh University, brings a wealth of experience and significant expertise to his new role, having been a successful futures trader since 2002 and more recently Chief of Operations and Risk at Bluewater Financials Pte, Singapore.

DPTG’s Management Team and its traders look forward to working closely with Ed as the Company continues with its current expansion programme.

DPTG was established in 2007 as the first professional trading floor in the Middle East and it continues to be the leader of the industry in the region.

Its mission is to continue to build its trading team by attracting international experienced traders and creating profitable professional traders through its trader training programmes offered to regionally based novices.
