JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust announces Stephen Cohen and Dr George Olcott to its Board as upcoming Non-Executive Directors

– UK, London – JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust plc (LSE:JFJ), is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Cohen and Dr George Olcott as non-executive Directors of the Company with effect from the close of the Company’s Annual General Meeting on 20th December 2016.

Stephen has been closely involved with equity investment in Japan since 1984, and lived there for seven years. He set up two asset management businesses in Japan and managed Japanese equity portfolios directly for around ten years.

In his last executive role, at Governance for Owners (2011-2013) he was directly responsible for a joint venture business in Japan which managed a Japanese equity activist fund and also provided stewardship services in Japanese equities to institutional investors.
