Manx Telecom announces Chris Hall to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director

– ISLE OF MAN – Manx Telecom Plc (AIM: MANX), the leading communication solutions provider on the Isle of Man, announces the appointment of Christopher Hall to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director, subject to approval at the Company’s AGM on 15 June 2016. Mr Hall will succeed Sir Miles Walker, who is stepping down from his role as a Non-Executive at the AGM.

Mr Hall has over 30 years’ telecoms industry experience and strong local connections on the Isle of Man, having previously worked at BT and Manx Telecom Ltd. He joined the Company in 1997 as Director of Business Development, Mr Hall was appointed Managing Director in 1999 until his departure in 2011. During that time, Mr Hall oversaw significant changes at the business including its sale from Telefonica in 2010.
