– UK, London – Maven Income and Growth VCT 6 PLC (LSE:MIG6) announces the appointment of Fraser Gray as a Non-executive Director with effect from 1 July 2016. Mr Gray will also serve on the Company’s Audit, Management Engagement, Nomination, Remuneration and Risk Committees.
Mr Gray is currently a managing director in AlixPartners’ turnaround and restructuring practice. He joined the London office in 2015, as part of AlixPartners’ acquisition of Zolfo Cooper Europe. Fraser provides a wide variety of restructuring solutions, acting for companies, lenders and shareholders, helping to resolve cashflow or solvency issues across a number of sectors, including shipping, retail, construction, engineering, automotive and leisure. Fraser is a chartered accountant, licensed insolvency practitioner and accredited mediator. He is also a long standing committee member with his professional body, ICAS.
This appointment is part of an ongoing succession plan, announced on 18 July 2014, through which it is intended that Jonathan Carr will stand down at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 31 August 2016. Mr Gray will be subject to re-election by Shareholders at that Annual General Meeting, being the first following his appointment, and confirmation of any further changes to the constitution of the Board will be communicated fully to Shareholders in due course.
