Medical Informatics Engineering appoints Bill Grana to its Board of Directors

Grana, Jr. to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Grana is a seasoned software and technology entrepreneur, including a 13-year stint as CEO of PureSafety, which was acquired by Underwriters Laboratories in December 2011 and rebranded as UL Workplace Health & Safety. Grana led the company’s aggressive growth and established it as the leading provider of workplace health and safety software solutions.

Grana successfully scaled a number of businesses as an operator, advisor and investor. His market experience includes workforce population health management, corporate safety, electronic medical records, clinical practice management, and a number of other healthcare IT segments.

Grana currently serves as EVP at HCTec, a clinical and revenue cycle focused healthcare workforce solutions provider. Grana also is a board member of Common Cents Systems, Emma, and Tennessee Industrial Electronics, and a former board member of Qualifacts. He is on the advisory boards of Wealth Access, ADS Security, and EnhanceWorks.
