Dr Kevin Carter, Chairman, commented on the appointment: “I would like to welcome David to the Board. David is a corporate lawyer by background and was until recently a partner of UK law firm, Dundas & Wilson (now part of CMS), where he was a partner for over 30 years and where he previously held various positions including head of corporate, managing partner and chairman. David is also head of venture philanthropy at Inspiring Scotland.”
The Company confirms that, as indicated in the Annual Report and financial statements, Mr Fred Shedden is retiring as a Director of the Company with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting today. The Directors would like to reiterate their thanks and appreciation for the contribution made by Fred as a Director of the Company and in his previous role as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
