Qvantel announces Ove Anebygd as upcoming CEO alongside Karri Linna stepping down as COO

– FINLAND, Helsinki – Qvantel appoints Ove Anebygd as the new CEO for the company. Qvantel has grown significantly in the last year, increasing its revenue from 28 million euro in 2015 to an estimated over 40 million euro in 2016. The company has also grown its headcount from 280 to almost 500 in one year. Qvantel anticipates rapid growth in the coming years, too.

Ove Anebygd joins Qvantel from Ericsson, where he has held several executive positions in the last 20 years in the telecommunications sector. Most recently he has acted as the Vice President & Head of Product Area Digital Business Systems.

He brings his strength and insight of the telecommunications business to our already skilled Management Team. For two decades, Ove has gathered valuable experience with our customer segment. Current CEO Karri Linna will remain in the company as COO.
