– USA, CA – SkyCross, a global leader in design and manufacture of advanced RF solutions, appointed Youngmin Jo as its new CEO. As an initial founder with deep technology domain expertise, Youngmin served in executive positions during the last 15 years, including COO and, most recently, CTO. As CEO, he will drive the company’s growth strategy with a focus on Asian customers.
Notes CEO Jo: “SkyCross has developed cutting edge products using advanced technologies such as iMAT™, created in the U.S. We have had solid success with global, top tier customers in Asia who are widely using these products. We want to expand our business by bringing our US patented design for improvements of phone performance to an even larger base of users. By expanding our sales with fast-growing worldwide manufacturers in the Asia market, SkyCross will be best serve our valuable customers and be more effective and even more profitable than it is today.”

In support of this strategy, SkyCross took one action to provide Airgain Corporation, a leading provider of smart, embedded antenna technology, ownership of certain North American customer accounts and select sales and engineering resources. In this agreement, SkyCross maintains core IP as its own while Airgain has usage rights to strengthen its position within North American core gateway and set-top box markets. This license agreement enables SkyCross to raise cash and streamline its US operations to focus on growing Asian business with its latest technologies, including iMAT and 4×4 MIMO.
