– UK, London – The Board of the Ukraine Opportunity Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Fabien Pictet as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 14 February 2014.
Fabien Pictet is the chairman of FPP Asset Management LLP (the Investment Manager of the Company) responsible for business development and overall strategy of the firm.
Between 1986 and 1998, Mr Pictet held various roles in institutional activities at Pictet & Cie before becoming the partner responsible for the specialist equities team including emerging markets. During the years 1983 to 1986, Mr Pictet worked in institutional sales for Merrill Lynch, New York. Mr Pictet holds a Masters in Finance from American Graduate School of International Management and a B.A. in Economics from University of San Francisco, California.
