– USA, TX – Vyopta Inc. today announced that Mark McClain, CEO and co-founder of SailPoint Technologies was appointed to the company’s board of directors, joining Alfredo Ramirez, Vyopta CEO and co-founder and Chris Pacetti of AVX Partners.

Mark McClain currently serves as CEO of SailPoint, a privately held company located in Austin,Texas, that is an industry leader in enterprise identity and access management solutions. During McClain’s tenure as CEO, SailPoint has grown from a start-up to a company with over $100 million in annual revenue and over 600 employees in 20 countries. Previously, McClain founded Waveset Technologies in 2000 and sold the company for $150 million to Sun Microsystems in 2003. McClain’s career also includes diverse experience in international sales and marketing with Hewlett-Packard and IBM/Tivoli Systems.
At SailPoint, McClain received a series of awards for his excellence in leadership including Austin Business Journal’s 2013 Best CEO in Austin and the 2015 EY entrepreneur of the year. In addition, SailPoint has been named one of Austin’s top places to work for the past seven consecutive years.
