Carillion announces Alison Horner as upcoming Non-Executive Director

– UK – Carillion plc is pleased to announce that Alison Horner will be appointed as a non-executive director of the Company on 1 December 2013. Alison will serve on the Audit, Remuneration, Nomination and Business Integrity Committees.

Alison Horner, aged 47, is Group Personnel Director of Tesco. Alison joined Tesco in 1999. In 2006, she was appointed Tesco’s first female Operations Director. In 2011, Alison became the Group Personnel Director and joined the Executive Committee leading its People Matters Group for 525,000 colleagues worldwide. She is a trustee of the Tesco Pension Scheme and until 2011 was a non executive director of Tesco Bank.
