Ceres Power appoints Aidan Hughes to the Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Horsham – Ceres Power Holdings plc, a world leading developer of low cost, next generation fuel cell technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Aidan Hughes as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Aidan has also been appointed as chairman of the Company’s audit committee.

Aidan has over twenty years of senior finance experience in a variety of listed companies.  He was Finance Director at the Sage Group Plc from 1993 to 2000, and a director of Communisis Plc from 2001 to 2004, having previously held senior accountant roles at Lex Services Plc and Carlton Communications Plc.

Since 2004 he has been Non-Executive Director of Dialog Semiconductors plc (“Dialog”), a UK company listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange and a member of the German TecDax index.  During his tenure at Dialog, Aidan chaired its Audit Committee.  He is also an investor and adviser to a number of international private technology companies and has a part-time executive role with Corelogic Limited, a leading UK software company.

Aidan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouse in the 1980s.
