CIGNEX Datamatics welcomes Dr. David Schmittlein to its Board of Directors

– USA, CA – CIGNEX Datamatics, a leading provider of enterprise Open Source solutions, announced that it has named David Schmittlein, John C Head III Dean of the MIT Sloan School of Management to serve on the company’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Schmittlein has an illustrious career spanning over 35 years with numerous achievements including a Ph.D and M.Phil in Business from Columbia University, serving as faculty at The Wharton School for 27 years and working as consultant for numerous Fortune-500 firms such as American Express, AT&T, Ford Motor Company, Hewlett-Packard, Johnson & Johnson and Lockheed Martin. He has over forty publications, mostly in leading journals in marketing, management, economics and statistics.

Dr. Schmittlein commented on his appointment, “I am delighted to serve CIGNEX Datamatics in this capacity, in support of its mission to improve the productivity of enterprises through the use of Open Source solutions.”
