CMC Markets announces Sarah Ing to its Board as upcoming Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – CMC Markets Plc (LSE:CMCX), a leading global provider of retail CFD trading, today announces that Sarah Ing will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director, subject to FCA approval. Sarah has 30 years’ experience in accountancy, investment banking and fund management, including time with HSBC and UBS. She is a Chartered Accountant and was a top-rated equity research analyst covering the general financials sector. She also founded and ran a hedge fund investment management business. A further announcement will be made in due course once the FCA approval process has concluded and her date of appointment is confirmed.

Malcolm McCaig, Non-Executive Director, has tendered his resignation from the Board. It will take effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 27 July 2017 and, accordingly, Mr McCaig will not be standing for re-election.

CMC are also proposing to appoint a further Non-Executive Director to the Board and a recruitment process is currently underway.
