Epcylon Technologies appointed Gary Schwartz to the Board of Directors

– CANADA, Toronto – Epcylon Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:PRFC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Schwartz as a Board Director, effective May 4, 2015.

Todd Halpern, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Epcylon, said, “Mr. Schwartz brings world-caliber mobile technology and omni-channel insights to our board. His expertise is ideally suited to help guide the Company’s next generation FINTECH services.”

Mr. Schwartz was previously on Epcylon’s Advisory Committee counselling management on various branding, marketing, and mobile application issues.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Schwartz has played a leadership role in the mobile media industry founding, managing and advising a number of mobile technology companies in Canada and the United States. He is the author of “THE IMPULSE ECONOMY” and “FAST SHOPPER, SLOW STORE” published by Simon & Schuster, Atria Imprint. In 2013, he was recognized as the “Mobile Commerce Evangelist of the Year” and in 2014 Mr. Schwartz was selected as the “Retail Innovator of the Year”. He is Chair Emeritus of mobile committee of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF) and is presently the Global Director of the Location Based Marketing Association (LBMA).
