UK – The Board of Henderson EuroTrust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicola Ralston, as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 September 2013.
Nicola is a director and co-founder of PiRho Investment Consulting, which focuses on bespoke investment advice to a wide range of institutional funds and which was founded in 2008. Nicola previously spent over 20 years in fund management at Schroders, where her roles included heading the UK institutional business, managing a number of public and private sector funds, and Head of Investment for the Schroder Group. She was subsequently Head of Global Investment Consulting at Hewitt (now Aon Hewitt). Nicola has over thirty years investment experience as an analyst, portfolio manager, investment consultant, board member and adviser to investment committees.
Nicola is a former director of the Edinburgh Investment Trust, a member of the Investment Committees of the British Heart Foundation and Somerville College, Oxford, and a member of the FTSE Policy Committee. Nicola is also a Fellow of CFA UK and is a former Chair of CFA UK; she was a Governor of CFA Institute, the global association for investment professionals, between 2003 and 2009.
