Hochschild Mining announces Michael Rawlinson as upcoming Senior Independent Director

– UK, London – Hochschild Mining plc (LSE:HOC), announces that Enrico Bombieri has stated his intention to step down from the Board on 31 December 2017.

The Company intends to appoint Michael Rawlinson, who has served as a Non-Executive Director since January 2016, to succeed Enrico as the Senior Independent Director. This will be formally approved by the Board later in the year.

Eduardo Hochschild, Chairman said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Enrico for his contribution to the Company since 2012 and the dedication with which he has served as Senior Independent Director.”
