JetSmarter announces Bradley Stewart to its Board along with raising $105m in new funding

– USA, CA – JetSmarter, a Fort Lauderdale, FL-based mobile app connecting members to chartered planes, raised $105m in funding.

Bradley Stewart, President and CEO, XOJET who is also a senior advisor to private equity firm TPG, has joined JetSmarter’s board with this funding round. New investors in JetSmarter included an Abu Dhabi-based equity fund, JetEdge, and KZ Capital in London.

The company intends to use the funds to expand globally, mainly into Asia, South America and Africa, with the target of add another 80/100 routes within 2017.

Led by founder and CEO Sergey Petrossov, JetSmarter enables members to search, find, and book flights any time, anywhere. They can ask for reservations, make a payment and connect with other members via in-app messaging.

The company currently offers approx. 50 routes in more than 30 cities including New York, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Atlanta, London, Paris, Moscow, Dubai, Milan and other business and leisure hubs.
