– UK – Legal & General Group Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Lizabeth Zlatkus as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 December 2013.
Lizabeth spent a large part of her career with The Hartford Financial Services Group (“Hartford”), one of America’s largest insurance and investment companies. Lizabeth joined Hartford in 1983 and held a range of senior leadership positions including her roles as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of the firm. She also served as Co-President of Hartford Life Insurance Companies. Prior to joining Hartford, Lizabeth was a senior accountant with KPMG. Lizabeth will join the Nominations Committee and the Group Risk Committee.
