Nakama Group appoints Tim Sheffield to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Nakama Group Plc (AIM:NAK) today announces the appointment of Tim Sheffield as Non-Executive Director of the Group. Tim has been a professional services advisor and business leader for the past 24 years and currently serves as Chairman of Sheffield Haworth Limited. He founded Sheffield Haworth in 1993 and is responsible for the leadership and strategic development of the business. Tim has advised chief executives, boards, executive committees and human resources directors on their senior talent needs, working with a diverse range of organisations across all regions of the world. He plays an active role in senior-level searches and manages a number of the firm’s global client relationships. He is also co-founder of Empresaria Group PLC and served on the Board from 1996 to 2008. Tim moved into executive search in 1989 following a career on the Sydney, Chicago and London exchanges, trading exchange-traded derivatives. He studied Business and Finance at Anglia University. He is a UK committee member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants and a board trustee of the SMA Trust, a UK charity. Tim Sheffield is unrelated to Rob Sheffield, CEO of the Group.

On 27 June 2017 Sheffield Haworth acquired 28,430,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing a 24.1% holding in Nakama.
