Scottish American Investment announces Bronwyn Curtis to the Board as upcoming Non-Executive Director

– UK – Scottish American Investment Co Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Bronwyn Curtis OBE as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 17 November 2014.

An economist by background, Bronwyn Curtis has many years of financial services experience, latterly at HSBC Bank plc where she held senior positions including Head of Global Research and Senior Adviser to the Head of Global Banking and Markets.  Her earlier positions included Head of European Broadcast at Bloomberg LP, Chief Economist for Nomura International and Global Head of Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income Strategy at Deutsche Bank. Bronwyn was also a Non-Executive Director of the Office of Fair Trading.

Ms Curtis is currently a non-executive Director of JP Morgan Asian Investment Trust Plc.

The appointment falls to be ratified by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2015.
