[ARCHIVE] Telecom Egypt (te) appointed Waleed Gad as Non-Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors

– EGYPT, Cairo – Telecom Egypt (te) (ETEL.CA; TEEG.LN), today announced the appointment of Mr. Waleed Gad as a non executive Chairman in place of Dr. Mohamed Salem. The appointment of Mr. Gad was effective from September 20th 2015.

Mr. Gad brings extensive experience and expertise in management and information technology matters. He also provides a high level of guidance and leadership to te’s Board, on which he has been a member since August 2012.

Mr. Gad has 48 years’ experience in Information Technology. He held a number of managerial positions within Fujitsu Services, and from 1994 to 2008, he was appointed as a Vice President for the Middle East. Currently, he works as a consultant in management & information systems.
